A great novelty coming to the Teatro del Maggio: on the occasion of the inaugural work of the 85th Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Festival, the Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Maggio is also ready to start, on the same model that for over a year decade characterizes the opening on 7 December at the Teatro alla Scala, its first dedicated to young people up to thirty years of age. Mozart's masterpiece is offered, at an extremely reduced price, to children in a real preview scheduled for April 26, 2023 at 7 pm. The show, directed by life director emeritus Zubin Mehta, finds in the playbill a stellar cast made up of Luca Micheletti (Don Giovanni), Markus Werba (Leporello), Jessica Pratt (Donna Anna), Anastasia Bartoli (Donna Elvira), Ruzil Gatin (Don Ottavio), Benedetta Torre (Zerlina), Eduardo Martìnez Flores (Masetto) and Evgeny Stavinsky (il Commendatore).
